TEDxMinneapolis is creating change and spotlighting voices around the Twin Cities and the greater Minnesota area. Our live event brings the community together to collaborate and share a lived experience while our published talks create waves locally and globally. TED, which stands for Technology, Entertainment and Design, is a powerful household name around the world and in recent years, has extended far beyond these three topics. From how nanotechnology has the potential to solve our global food crisis, to how we can foster better communication between our differences, to how our dining tables influence our way of being, our licensed TEDxMinneapolis events and published videos pass the mic to local individuals to take center-stage and convey their message to a global and diverse audience.
An educational talk about a chosen topic is delivered by polished and novice public speakers alike, coached by our experienced speaker coaching volunteers. Local artists share their work and interactive exhibits are placed in the venue to give a greater breadth of experience to our participants.
