TEDxMinneapolis is a 501c3 nonprofit, and we depend on sponsors to financially support our programming and expand access to TEDxMinneapolis events to people at all levels of the economic spectrum. Join our sponsorship team! This role will involve reaching out to individuals and companies that have expressed interest in sponsoring, targeting new sponsors and reaching out to those who might see value in our mission. Must feel comfortable making financial asks.
Once a sponsor is confirmed for an event, we have several logistical steps to take: collect a high resolution logo, short description of the company, coordinate sponsor ticket access, arrange for any sponsor-specific benefits, and coordinate with the rest of the TEDxMinneapolis team. This role will be part customer-service, ensuring sponsors are well cared for and all of their sponsor benefits are provided, and part project management, coordinating with several TEDxMinneapolis team members.
Work with our creative team to maintain the TEDxMinneapollis website and build out new templates and pages when necessary. WordPress experience required, Divi builder preferred. HTML coding experience is helpful but not required.
Community Engagement Lead
The community engagement team focuses on building relationships with community partners, media, public relations organizations, and manage our social media and PR assets. This role will manage a small team, focusing on building strategy around making TEDxMinneapolis a household name. The lead will also work directly with the other department leads within the core team.
Social Media Manager (Twitter)
Join our social media team and run the TEDxMinneapolis twitter account! You’ll familiarize yourself with the TEDx Rules around social media posting, enter all upcoming posts into our social media calendar, and schedule posts using whatever tool you prefer. Coordinate with the social media team. Great communication is a must!

The Technology Coordinator manages the digital experience and front-of-house technical needs for the team, including the website, ticketing site, intranet sites, on-site printing, on-site WiFi experience, simulcast, and A/V needs outside of the theatre.
Art Curator/Artist Coordinator
Work with our Art Curation Lead to develop an artist in residence program and commission work for our live events. This role will also involve working directly with the artists we have commissioned to coordinate all details and ensure they have an optimal experience with TEDxMinneapolis.
Event Designer/Art Director
Seeking an experienced interior designer, exhibit designer, event designer, or art director to join our attendee experience team. This role will involve directing a vision for spaces outside the main theater, procuring furniture and accessories, designing attendee experiences that will be memorable and instagrammable. Bring your creativity and take ideas from concept to execution!
